In my opinion, everyone in the world loves fast food. I know I love it! Burger King has a special place in my heart and in my stomach. The thought of their French fries alone are enough to send me tearing out of my house in a mad rush to get some for my very own.
However, I have made a decision not to eat there more than twice per month, once every two weeks. I also make certain that I take my time when I am there. I turn fast food into slow food by eating it slowly. Just for the record, a hamburger has fewer calories than a cheeseburger.

I love the idea of croissants for breakfast, but I do not eat them anymore. Instead, I choose to eat whole wheat bread. It is delicious as well, but much healthier. Instead of melted cheese I choose curd cheese. If you don’t see the point of that substitution just perform an internet search comparing curd cheese with melted cheese!

Those of us who like to bake will find that using a whisked egg yellow instead of butter will cause the crust to be just as beautiful. Use a spray bottle filled with oil for pan frying. This will allow you to not only cut costs on oil purchasing, but lower the calories of your meals since one or two quick sprays is usually all you need!

Do not bread your food. Breaded chicken is one of the biggest calorie increasing meals out there. If you simply must have chicken, choose the wings. They have less meat and go beautifully with hot sauce.

Try not to eat mayonnaise at all. Use other products for salad dressing. Use tomato paste for sauces.

When you are thirsty drink water. Only fresh water can truly quench your thirst. Soda is little more than caffeine and sugar. Juice is a type of food because it actually requires digesting in your stomach. Water is the only substance that requires no additional steps to absorb it into the body beyond simply drinking it. It also has zero calories.

If you’re like me and enjoy having snacks in front of TV, I recommend replacing chips with popcorn. Popcorn is tasty and contains fewer calories and fat. It may take some time but it will also help if you get used to eating popcorn without adding butter.

It is not healthy to drink a lot of tea and coffee. Some people can drink up to 10 cups of tea or coffee per day! Even more to the point they drink this tea and coffee with a lot of sugar. It is harmful, but how can you stop this bad habit? First, get used to drinking tea and coffee without sugar. These drinks will have a different taste and you will grow to like it in time. After a while start to slowly reduce the number of cups you drink per day as well.

Eat pasta without cheese. What else can you eat pasta with? I eat it with just butter and fried pieces of chicken breasts with mushrooms. Experiment with it and find a recipe that you will love.

In magazines they say that it is healthy to have various kinds of nuts for a snack. Usually they mean 5-6 nuts. Personally, I am never able to stop after 5-6 nuts. This is why it is better to snack with unleavened ring-shaped crackers or pretzels. Nuts are a major calorie bomb that will blow up all over you. The greatest explosion will probably happen around hips and butt!

I adore sandwiches, especially the triangle ones in plastic packages. However, I always take one slice of bread off and do not eat it.

In cafes and restaurants they serve soups with bread and crackers. Don’t eat the bread and eat only half of the served crackers. In time do not eat even the crackers.

Do you like ice-cream? If you know that you overeat ice-cream try to reduce your consumption of this soft sweet treat slowly. You can also try to replace it with fruit sherbet.
